Art Avenue is both a gallery and art studio space located in Uptown Greenville. Currently leasing event and studio space in the rear of the building. Art Avenues mission is to provide an innovative art space for the community while breeding contemporary ideas and visual culture.  The underlying goal is congruent with the urban mission of revitalization though arts, culture, and community.

The Art Room is the gallery and studio of Nelle Lee Hayes. It features exhibits of Nelle’s work as well as the work of monthly guest artists. It is also available for event rentals accommodating up to 100.

City Art Gallery is a fine arts gallery featuring the work of established regional and national artists and craftspeople. The gallery offers an extensive collection of paintings including French and Italian landscapes, coastal and marshland paintings, still life and interiors, and figurative works. A spacious, light-filled exhibition space also showcases sculpture in terra cotta, stone, and metal; art glass, and functional blown glass and stemware; and ceramics and raku pottery.

The Greenville Museum of Art collection focuses primarily on works by North Carolina artists and noted American Landscape artists from 1860 to present. It has six galleries that display work from its permanent collection as well as rotating exhibits of regional and national importance. The Museum also offers classes and workshops for adults and children. In addition, it offers the Visual Arts Academy to provide an avenue of development for students in Pitt County who exhibit high aptitude, interest and skills in the visual arts.

Laupus Library exhibits works by faculty and staff from the Division of Health Sciences through its Art as Avocation series. The Library launched the opening of the Art as Avocation series in January of 2012 to showcase and celebrate through a gallery exhibit, the artistic talents and self-expression of faculty and staff from the Division of Health Sciences.
