Students in graphic design classes have access to several computer labs with graphic design, video, animation, and interactive software. Accepted majors are required to own laptop computers and can access ECU's WiFi system throughout the Jenkins Fine Arts Center and most of the campus. Students in our introductory classes have key card access to a lab with iMac computers, scanners, and a color laser printer in addition to broad access to computer labs in Jenkins and around campus. The School of Art & Design has a printing center with a variety of high quality, large format color printers including a 44 inch wide poster printer.
The letterpress printing lab and silkscreen printing rooms are of particular interest to graphic design students but galleries, a media center, a well-equipped woodshop, and the facilities of the various studio areas put a variety of information and creative capabilities within easy reach.
