The Painting and Drawing area has two classrooms dedicated to teaching all levels of painting and two rooms (shared by Foundations) dedicated to teaching all levels of drawing. Each painting room is equipped with easels, taborets, storage rack for paintings, and a 28 foot critique wall constructed of Homasote (fiber board) backed by ¾' plywood. Each drawing room is equipped with easels, a platform for observational drawing, and a 20 foot critique wall.

Students accepted into the Painting and Drawing BFA program are provided with lockable studio space once they have reached the advanced (4000) level courses. Each workspace is approximately 80 square feet and is furnished with an easel, taboret, and shared storage space.

Painting and Drawing area has a small print lab for student use. The lab is equipped with two 17" Epson Stylus Pro 4000 series printers and mac workstations.
