Please read carefully and follow instructions scrupulously so that your application will be fully considered.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
INFORMATION

READ CAREFULLY
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS

 All Majors and Intended Majors in the School of Theatre and Dance
who wish to be considered for scholarships in the
2012-2013 academic year
must do the following:

1.  Submit a completed application form, which is available in the School office, Messick 108 or can be downloaded by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.

2.  Write a letter of application to the Scholarship Committee, School of Theatre and Dance, giving your name, address, major area and concentration, and a brief statement of your qualifications for a scholarship based on your class work, studio training, performance, and other contributions to the School, and/or the profession.  (You may also include a statement of your career or post-graduate goals.

3.  Enclose official evidence of your latest cumulative Grade Point Average - either a copy of your most recent end-of-semester grade report or a recent transcript or the like.

4.  Enclose the names and contact information of at least two personal references, who can speak to your work, your character and your dedication to your training and education. No reference letters are necessary: names, addresses, and telephone numbers only.

Submit your application to the mailbox of John Shearin, School Director, in Messick 108 no later than Friday, March 23rd, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. 

Applications received after the deadline will be evaluated for any remaining scholarship funds.
Incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
