Appropriate Rehearsal Behavior

If you are cast in a production, please follow these suggestions:

  • Get to rehearsal at least 10 minutes before the time you're supposed to be there.
  • Bring a pencil and your script.
  • Wear appropriate clothing (e.g., rehearsal clothing).
  • Check your props before rehearsal starts.
  • Arrive at rehearsal physically and vocally warmed-up.
  • Be ready to work: energized and attentive. Cope with your personal problems outside the work environment.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Stay healthy - eat sensibly - get enough sleep.
  • Respect the ability of others and their needs for quiet during rehearsals.
  • Once in production, performers will act as directed or choreographed from curtain rise through curtain call, with no divergence.
