In King Arthur's age of chivalry, his queen, Guinevere, and his closest knight, Lancelot, have fallen in love. She is arrested and sentenced to death for infidelity, but the two escape. Arthur declares war on Lancelot but, just before the fighting begins, forgives them both. "Don't let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment that was known as Camelot."
Some of the enchanting musical numbers include "If Ever I Would Leave You" and "I Wonder What the King is Doing Tonight".
