Messick Theatre Arts Center

The ECU School of Theatre and Dance is located in the Messick Theatre Arts Center comprised of the following:

The Messick east and west wings, two buildings devoted to classrooms, dance studios and rehearsal studios.

The McGinnis Theatre, a 610-seat, fully-equipped proscenium theatre with a fly gallery, orchestra pit, stage management and lighting booth, sound station, stage management console, and several dressing rooms, along with the costume shop (and its cutting, draping, stitching and storage rooms, and makeup lab) and lighting shop/storage.
