On-line Master of Science in Criminal Justice

The program emphasizes both criminal justice practice and criminal justice administration. The program requires 39 semester hours (s.h.).

The practice component focuses on specific methods, techniques, and skills utilized when interacting with police officers, probation and parole officers, mediators, guardians ad litem, and attorneys.

The administration component focuses on the formulation and implementation of policies, laws, and management issues such as decision making, fiscal responsibility, program evaluation, and performance evaluation.

Systematic issues that impact the operations of criminal justice agencies also are emphasized.
