Student Organizations

 

The student-affiliated chapter of the North Carolina Criminal Justice Association was chartered in 2001 and is open to all criminal justice students. The chapter holds monthly meetings and provides students with the opportunity to interact with criminal justice professionals, attend conferences, and sponsor public service and fund raising activities.

 
Honor Societies

Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society is a national honor society for Criminal Justice majors, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, and is open to undergraduates, graduates and law students who meet the eligibility criteria. The criteria are:

  • Undergraduates: Have completed three semesters, and have a  3.0 overall GPA and 3.2 in the major.
  • Graduates: 3.4 overall GPA.
  • Law students: Have completed one year of law school, and have a 2.5 GPA.
