The Occupational Medicine Clinic at Pitt County Memorial Hospital sees approximately 17,000 patients per year, providing services such as pre-employment screens, returns to work, immunizations, and medical management of injuries occurring in the workplace. Staff physicians are board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A Certified Medical Review Officer is onsite weekly. Medical Management services are provided by a nurse practitioner from the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The clinic operates four one-half days per week, providing medical care, drug screen reviews, and oversight of other Occupational Health functions. The Occupational Medicine Clinic is located in the Gaskins-Leslie Center at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
