Responsible for supervising Insurance Section and EOB (Explanation of Benefits) Section within Clinical Finance Department. The insurance section is responsible for first time claims, electronic filing of claims, claim edits, insurance denials and appeals. The EOB section is responsible for processing of all batches that have been entered into the IDX billing system. The batches are then entered into a document scanning system. They are also responsible for retrieval of EOB's to attach to secondary claims. They provide document retrievals to Patient Representatives in Billing & Reimbursement and Patient Access Services.
