Systems Support Services is responsible for the analysis, maintenance and distribution of all Division of Health Sciences SCT Banner General Ledger production reports. Approve Banner Finance Security user requests for Division. Responsible for system maintenance of SCT Banner Chart elements (Funds, Org & Activity) for division.
Produce various annual financial surveys on behalf of the medical school such as the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) Annual Part 1-A Financial Questionnaire, GBA Metric Survey, GPA Faculty Practice Plan Survey (FPPS), and various cost report personnel, expense and depreciation support schedules.
Provide division level financial analysis and ad hoc reporting. Maintain the HS Administration and Finance department web site. Special projects involving the above areas as well as the areas of system development and process reengineering.
Supervise, plan, organize & direct workflow of Systems Support staff providing work and project assignments. Contact for annual financial surveys such as LCME. Provide division level financial analysis, complex add hoc report writing function and special projects.
Systems Access FOAPAL Setup
Serve as SCT Banner chart maintenance liaison with Division of Health Sciences facilitating FOAPAL setups and/or attribute modifications. Responsible for the division level approval processing of all DHS security requests for SCT Banner general ledger systems access. Responsible for the data extraction, compilation, fiscal analysis and financial reporting for various AAMC annual surveys.
Business Intelligence Reporting
Responsible for SAS production and ad hoc reporting. Assist management with operational planning and analysis. Consult and provide support to Accounting sections and Health Sciences departments concerning computer problems and questions. Provide Access database design and development service.
