This department is responsible for the Division of Health Sciences general accounting functions for all funds including Medical Faculty Practice Plan (MFPP), State, Indirect, Special Funds, and Grants.

Specific services include: cash management; division level review of purchasing and travel costs; processing of Banner accounting system adjusting entries; training and support for departments related to general accounting issues, procedures, and internal controls; financial reporting and analysis.

Oversees the planning, organization, and administration of the various functions included within the department of Health Sciences Financial Services, including financial accounting, cash management, and cashier services.

Develops and implements policies and procedures that assure proper internal control, as well as efficient and effective operations. Fosters positive and effective communication with and support of the Health Sciences departments through the various financial services provided.
