Telecommunications manages telephones (3800), including the interdepartmental billing for long distance phone calls, pagers and cellular phone.
Develops and maintains strategic solutions in the area of telephony within the Division of Health Sciences. Telecommunications acts as a resource to staff in evaluating, developing, and implementing calling plans, calling programs, and call distribution. Telecommunications manages multiple integrated/interfaced PBX's, automatic call distribution (ACD).

Assist in design and facilitate the implementation of automatic call distribution groups. Provides technical support to all telecommunications users within the organization. Handles the interdepartmental telephone billing, supports Telecommunications. This position also serves as a backup for the Information Desk; distributes mail and other general office support.
