Dr. W. Gregory Cope is Coordinator for Agromedicine at NC State University and Professor and Department Extension Leader in the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology at NC State University. He directs and manages the Department's Extension program, conducts externally-funded environmental toxicology applied research, and develops extension educational resources and specialized training in toxicology, water quality, pesticides for NC Cooperative Extension Service field faculty, state and federal agency personnel and others. He coordinates all aspects of the North Carolina Agromedicine Institute’s activities on the NC State University campus. Dr. Cope was active in establishing the NC Agromedicine Institute in 1999. He holds a BS in Environmental Science from Lenoir-Rhyne University, an MS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a PhD in Toxicology and Fisheries Biology from Iowa State University.
