The role of the Board of Directors is to:
- Provide directional oversight of the Institute
- Make recommendations about administrative oversight issues to the ECU Vice-Chancellor chairing the Board
- Receive and review the Institute’s Annual Report
- Receive reports and make recommendation to the Executive Committee about the Institute, Plans, Centers, Programs, and Major Projects
- Review recommendations from Executive Committee and Board of Partners for Partner status
