Project Description:
Agromedicine is a partnership between the agricultural and health sciences to meet health care needs of the agricultural community. Partners involved in this project are the University of Alabama Rural Medical Scholars Program, Alabama Cooperative Extension System, and farmers in West Alabama. The overall purpose is to collect information needed to engage Alabama’s Agromedicine partners and establish initiatives for farm health and safety. This pilot survey will address the research question: What are the health concerns and risks about which Alabama farmers want their doctors to be knowledgeable?
