Project Type: Core Feasibility Education/Outreach

Project Description: Funding was provided to assist with the production of a workplace safety video for agricultural workers. The DVD, which will be in Spanish with English subtitles, covers basic safety information on forklifts, tobacco harvesters, tobacco balers and heat stress. Every year multiple fatalities occur on farms in North Carolina, and this educational DVD aims to reduce fatalities that can be prevented simply by following safety regulations.
