The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology is located in the Brody Medical Sciences Building, on the west campus of East Carolina University. The university is the educational centerpiece of eastern North Carolina and the Brody School of Medicine is one component of the rapidly growing Health Sciences campus that also includes the Schools of Allied Health and Nursing and the William E. Laupus Health Sciences Library. The Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with the adjacent Pitt County Memorial Hospital, the Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center and the East Carolina Cardiovascular Center.
