The long term goal of our lab is to develop n-3 PUFAs as adjuvant immunosuppressants for the treatment of inflammation associated disorders. One project, currently in development with other labs, is to understand how fish oil targets whole body immune and metabolic responses after exposure to bacterial and viral antigens.
