  • Grew up in Chengdu, China.
  • Graduated from Sichuan University with a B.S. in Biology.
  • Joined the Biochemistry PhD program in 2007 after one year of work at West China Hospital.
Andrew Friday
  • Grew up in Vandergrift, PA
  • Graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2009 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Chemistry

  • From Hanover, MD
  • B.S. in Molecular Biology from Liberty University

Nathaniel Kingsbury

  • From Fayetteville, NC
  • B.S. in Molecular Biotechnology from University of North Carolina at Pembroke
  • Joined the PhD program in 2011
Kaitlin Morrison
  • Grew up in Cary, NC
  • Graduated in 2009 from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Chemistry
  • Spent the year before graduation from UNC on a science exchange program at the University of Briston in Bristol, England.
