The Bioethics Center
Established in 1995, The Bioethics Center is a joint program of Pitt County Memorial Hospital and The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. The Center was established to provide educational opportunities for hospital staff, physicians, students, and faculty, and to support the work of hospital committees charged to address ethical issues. The Center sponsors bioethics conferences, workshops and lectures for the University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina and regional audiences. The Center is staffed by the faculty of the Department of Medical Humanities and directed by Dr. John Moskop.
