Office of Admissions
The Admissions Office reviews and evaluates hundreds of applicants from North Carolina to select the entering class of 80. For over 30 years the BSOM has met the challenge given to us by the State of North Carolina: to provide medical care to the Eastern Region of the State, to educate the people of North Carolina (particularly those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds or groups which are under-represented in medicine), and to train physicians to care for the citizens of the State.
