Ms. Jernigan has over fifteen years of experience in healthcare and business operations and management with primary focus in legal and regulatory affairs.

She has over 22 years of coding experience. Ms. Price received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from East Carolina University.

Ms. Duncan serves the department as the HIPPA Privacy and Compliance Specialist. Her responsibilities include receiving HIPPA Privacy Complaints and investigation of such complaints as well as providing HIPPA Privacy training for all health care components within East Carolina University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University.

Ms. Lang is a Coding Analyst for the Office of Compliance. Her duties include monitoring physician compliance with documentation and coding guidelines in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Ms. Lang also coordinates and performs reviews of medical records and billing documents for the purpose of providing physicians and other billing personnel the feedback and instruction necessary to improve documentation and coding. Ms. Lang received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from East Carolina University.
