The compilation and presentation of one's professional achievements influence promotion, tenure, and reappointment decisions. This workshop will provide faculty with the most recent guidelines and a clear plan for preparing their Personnel Action Dossiers (PAD) to support career advancement goals. There will be time for individual faculty questions.
Objectives
On completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Explain the rationale for the Personnel Action Dossier's Design and how it is used by reviewers
- Review writing and organizational techniques to effectively present accomplishments
- Describe resources, both written and personal, for the development and review of the PAD
