Objectives:
1. Describe the medical education literature regarding feedback
2. Identify core principles of effective feedback
3. Provide brief feedback during clinical encounters and teaching sessions
4. Provide interval cumulative feedback during a course or rotation
5. List barriers to effective feedback and identify methods to overcome them
