The Office of Academic and Faculty Development offers professional writing assistance to faculty, students, and staff by appointment with our Writing Resource Specialist, Kerri Bright-Flinchbaugh.
Kerri Bright-Flinchbaugh
Kerri Bright-Flinchbaugh, MA, is a writing instructor in the College of Education at East Carolina University and assists with the observation and assessment of student teachers while working as the Assistant Director of the University Writing Program. Over the last ten years, she has written, revised, and edited documents for all areas of content writing, including grant applications and reports, articles, and chapters of books.

Writing Consultation vs. Proofreading Service
Kerri Bright-Flinchbaugh offers advice to develop skills in writing, revising, and editing written works for publication. Writers can get feedback regarding structure, clarity, style, formatting, grammar, punctuation and more. However, Ms. Flinchbaugh will not edit or proofread documents dropped off and will not write documents for faculty, staff, or students.
Types of Consultations
Kerri Bright-Flinchbaugh is available to meet with authors individually to discuss their written work one-on-one or facilitate group presentations about various writing-related topics.
