BSOM Grants and Contracts

The Brody School of Medicine Grants and Contracts Office is responsible for the management and complete accounting cycle for active research, training, and service grants and contracts. All grants and contracts are unique in nature, and range from projects which are sponsored by Federal and State agencies, private foundations, and pharmaceutical companies, to North Carolina DHHS professional services contracts for healthcare support within the Eastern NC region.

This office is responsible for the review and approval of grants pre-award proposal budgets and the monitoring of post-award activities and financial transactions. It also serves as a resource for helping to assure that grant spending and requests for funding are in accordance with federal, state, and private sponsor rules and regulations.
