    (All immunizations are required according to the dose number listed, e.g. polio 3 doses. NC high school transcripts list many of these items.)

  • Health Insurance Requirement - Scroll down to the "Waive Out or You're In!" section - coming in July
    ALL students are required to have health insurance coverage. ECU offers a student health insurance plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield-Student Blue. Students who enroll in this plan will be charged each semester through the tuition bill. Coverage begins August 1st. However, if you have an existing health insurance plan that you wish to keep, you may waive out of the BCBS health insurance plan by submitting a waiver. Please keep in mind that you too will be billed for the student health insurance until your waiver is accepted. Once it is accepted, the charge will be reversed and/or you will be reimbursed. Deadline to take action (either waive out or enroll) is September 10th for Fall semester and January 31 for Spring/Summer semester. To enroll or waive out go to
