Ning Zhou, PhD

Auditory Prosthesis Lab

Dr. Zhou received a master's degree in Linguistics and a PhD degree in Hearing Sciences from Ohio University. She worked as a postdoc research fellow at the Kresge Hearing Research Institute, Department of Otolaryngology, University of Michigan from 2010 to 2013. 

Her research area is psychophysics and perception in humans with cochlear implants. Her recent research focuses on improving speech recognition in electrical hearing by customizing the speech processing strategies of the devices on an individual basis.
