Tuition and Fees

The distance education program at East Carolina University is administered through the Division of Continuing Studies. The tuition and fee structure is provided at the following web-site: How much does it cost? Note that tuition rates are based on residency (in-state or out-of-state) as well as rank (undergraduate or graduate). All courses in the CSDI Master's program are graduate level courses and students will pay the graduate tuition rate. If students have a bachelor's degree and are taking the undergraduate prerequisite courses, the graduate tuition rate will be charged. Tuition and fees are contingent on legislative action and may be increased at any time.

If you are an out-of-state student taking courses on our campus (summer residency) your tuition and fees will be charged at a different rate than if you take the courses in your home state.

Summer school rates are also charged differently than rates during the Fall and Spring semester. For questions regarding tuition and fees, call the Cashier's office at 1-888-331-5328.

Military Active Duty personnel and their dependents should refer to Military Outreach.
