Voice & Resonance
Assessments and treatments of the voice and resonance system (how sound travels through the nose) are available using state-of-the-art instrumentation. Public speakers, singers, actors, as well as non-professional voice users are often referred to this clinic for additional testing following ear-nose-throat evaluation. The resonance clinic utilizes computerized technology to determine if excessive nasality or lack of nasal resonance is present due to repaired cleft palate or other hard palate/soft palate difficulties. Instrumentation used to evaluate patients includes:

Computerized Speech Lab
Perceptual assessments

Evaluations of both children and adults are available. Referral from a physician is not required (unless medical insurance requires it).

Following evaluation of voice or resonance, individualized treatments are available for children and adults.

The programs in voice and resonance are appropriate for many individuals with a variety of diagnoses including:

Velopharyngeal Insufficiency
