Mission Statement
The DHS promotes and supports integrated and interdisciplinary education, research, and clinical services with a focus on primary care, rural health, and selected clinical specialties needed to improve the health of the people of eastern NC and beyond.
Vision
Through leadership, the Division of Health Sciences:
- Graduates competent professionals that meet workforce needs
- Creates, applies, disseminates new knowledge
- Collaborates across ECU to enhance the health and well-being of citizens in NC
