Smokers can learn how to quit beginning April 8

GREENVILLE, N.C.   (Mar. 13, 2008)   —   Welcome spring by kicking the habit through an ECU Physicians eight-week smoking cessation program beginning April 8.

Called "Freedom from Smoking," the eight-week class will cover smoking facts, ways to deal with cravings, healthy substitutions for cigarettes and other methods to help people quit smoking.

Classes are Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. beginning April 8 at Moye Medical Center at 521 Moye Blvd. in Greenville. Cost is $45.

ECU Physicians is the group practice of the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
