Dr

Dr. Timothy Kelley serves as the Director of the Environmental Health Sciences Program in the Department of Health Education and Promotion at East Carolina University.  His teaching and research interests focus on the management of microbiological, chemical and physical contaminants of agricultural, residential, municipal and industrial wastes.  He develops and applies treatments to reduce hazards and risks related to waste management to protect the public and workers and to prevent environmental degradation.  Dr. Kelley serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the international, peer-reviewed, open access journal Environmental Health Insights published by Libertas Academia; Chair of the Faculty Senate Environment Committee; serves on the Greenville Environment Advisory commission; on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Pamlico-Tar River Foundation (PTRF).
