ECU Physicians offers services through the Family Autism Center to help parents and pediatricians respond to the needs of autistic children and teenagers. This independent medical practice offers specialized services in a comfortable setting. We can evaluate children and teenagers and refer them for treatment, such as occupational or speech therapy.
Guidelines issued in 2013 created the general description of autism spectrum disorders for these behavioral, learning and neurological conditions. Our center plans to assist our patients and their families, as well as professionals and educators.
