Our children’s cancer program offers advanced treatments for your precious loved ones, with warmth and concern. Our physicians have a vast range of experiences treating children’s cancers, including leukemia and tumors. We also treat blood diseases such as sickle cell anemia. Because we are part of the Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center
, we work in close association with a team of highly skilled cancer experts to assure our young patients and their families of the best care possible.
Our treatments are designed especially for children. Our doctors, nurses and staff provide comfort and care in a child-friendly setting. We are proud to care for hospitalized children at Children’s Hospital, a special unit of Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. At Children’s Hospital, our Child Life team helps children and their families better understand and adjust to their hospitalization, while our in-house teachers make sure our patients keep up with their schoolwork.
We believe our care can bring children and their families hope, too. We invite families to join our Rainbow Services. Through Rainbow Services, we offer Camp Hope and Camp Rainbow. These camps allow children with cancer and chronic illnesses to enjoy a vacation from their illness, by attending camp under medical supervision with other children like themselves.
