Children come first with ECU Physicians pediatricians. Our commitment starts with your baby’s first breath and continues through the teenage years and beyond.
We take care of newborns, and provide all needed immunizations and regular well-baby checkups. We can answer any questions you may have. If your child becomes sick, we’re ready to help make things better. We’ll take care of minor injuries, too.
As a major medical center, we provide all types of children's care. We treat sudden illnesses or injury; chronic diseases; infections; developmental conditions; and nutrition and weight. We are close to home, so you can avoid traveling long distances to see specialists.
You will find care and management of ongoing conditions such as diabetes. We can refer you for expert consultations with our specialists. As your child enters the teenage years, we offer a special Adolescent Clinic to address the changes of young adulthood.
We’ll evaluate your child’s developmental progress, and will diagnose and make recommendations for conditions such as ADHD (attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder), as well as autism.
We offer outstanding specialty care in cancer, heart disease, digestive conditions, developmental concerns and other pediatric areas. We are proud to work with the specialists at the East Carolina Heart Institute, where we offer pediatric heart care (pediatric cardiology).
Our Diagnostic Dilemma Clinic offers evaluations and treatment plans for children with difficult-to-diagnose problems.
For families who’d like the same doctor, we offer Adult and Pediatric Health Care at our 517 Moye Medical Center location. This office also offers care for adults with pediatric conditions (transitional care) such as cerebral palsy, and genetic syndromes such as Down syndrome. It is staffed by specialists in adult and pediatric care.
After hours, our patients have access to health care, including urgent care, at our Acute Care Clinic.
With the credentials of the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, you can be assured of the best care provided by compassionate physicians. Our pediatricians are board certified in treating children from birth to age 18.
