Family Medicine

Special Tests & Minor Surgery

Many times you can have tests or surgical procedure at one of our family medicine locations. We offer ultrasound for pregnant women, colonoscopy and heart stress tests. These and other procedures are offered for our patients in a familiar office, usually with your regular doctor.

While some minor surgeries can be performed during your check-up or on the same day as your appointment, others should be scheduled in advance. We will find a convenient time and day for your procedure or test and help you prepare beforehand.

If you have questions before your test or surgery, please call our Family Medicine Center at (252) 744-4611 or Firetower Medical Office at (252) 744-1122 for more information. You may also call (252) 744-8219 and we will return your call the same day, if possible.
