Heart Disease
The outstanding cardiologists and surgeons of ECU Physicians are part of the East Carolina Heart Institute, bringing together the best heart and circulatory care in a central location at our medical center. The heart institute assures our patients a simpler transition from doctor’s office to diagnosis, from surgery and recovery to normal life.
Because eastern North Carolina has some of the highest rates of heart and vascular disease in the nation, our physicians and staff have developed exceptional expertise in treating these conditions. Because we are faculty of the Brody School of Medicine, we bring together the best treatments and newest research, assuring you outstanding care from exceptional professionals.
