Alert! -- Cardiovascular Institute Construction Assistance
The construction of the Heart Hospital (a portion of the Eastern Carolina Cardiovascular Institute) will begin in mid-February 2006. This will create two significant changes in the access to the School and some of our clinics, due to the relocation of patient parking lots and re-routing of traffic.

Parking:

• Brody Outpatient Center: The parking area for the Brody Outpatient Center is located on the west side of the Brody Medical Sciences Building off Emergency Road. The Brody Outpatient Center parking lot is in front of the Outpatient Center.
• Family Medicine Center: Please note Family Medicine Center parking changes! Due to the construction of the Heart Hospital, parking will no longer be available in front of the Family Medicine Center. Patients may choose to have their car parked by a valet in the temporary parking lot across Moye Blvd. or park in the temporary lot and ride back to the Family Medicine Center in a free shuttle.
• Pediatric Outpatient Center: Parking for the Pediatric Outpatient Center is on the northwest side of the Brody Medical Sciences Building off the North Campus Loop.
• Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center: Parking for the Cancer Center is located off Moye Boulevard on the east side of Brody Medical Sciences Building in front of the Cancer Center’s main entrance.
• Parking for other clinical sites in ECU Women’s Physicians, Executive Park West, Firetower Medical Office, Nephrology, Pavilion, Plastic Surgery and Psychiatry and Physician’s Quadrangle is located adjacent to each site.

Persons transporting patients who have difficulty walking, need assistance, or need a wheelchair, may temporarily leave their car at the main entrance to each outpatient service area. Handicapped parking is available near each entrance.
