ECU Psychiatric Services
We provide care for all types of mental conditions, including mood disorders such as depression and major disorders such as schizophrenia. Our staff also treats childhood mental illnesses, including developmental disabilities, attention-deficit disorder and neurological conditions such as Tourette's syndrome.
Patients with Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome, substance abuse problems or other mental illnesses will also find specialized treatment.
Children, adolescents and adults with both mental retardation and mental illness can receive treatment through our state-supported programs, including the Eastern Region Mental Retardation-Mental Illness Support Team.
During times of crisis, we can arrange an appointment within a short time in most cases.
