Family Practice Center
Overview
Our staff physicians in family medicine provide comprehensive care for people of all ages. Our services include general health and preventive care for adults, children and teen-agers. We also provide pregnancy services including prenatal, delivery and postnatal care; care for the elderly; and nutrition counseling and weight control.
We also perform many types of minor surgery. In addition, we have physical therapy, psychology, sports medicine and dentistry.
Our philosophy is to provide compassionate care using the most advanced resources. As faculty members of the Brody School of Medicine, our physicians have the full support of the professionals and resources of the School of Medicine and Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Please call to set up an appointment. If you have a non-life-threatening emergency during regular hours, you may be seen right away. Or, you may be directed to the Emergency Department. We also have extended hours for urgent care.

8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Extended Hours
Monday and Thursday 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location:
The Eastern Carolina Family Medicine Center is located between the hospital and the Brody Medical Sciences Building. It faces Moye Boulevard.

Alert! -- Construction Assistance & Directions
The construction of the Heart Hospital (a portion of the Eastern Carolina Cardiovascular Institute) will begin in mid-February 2006. This will create two significant changes in the access to the Family Medicine Center, due to the relocation of patient parking lots and re-routing of traffic. Please use the following driving directions and maps to assist in arrival to the Brody School of Medicine during this construction:
Parking:
Please note our parking changes! Due to the construction of the Heart Hospital, parking will no longer be available in front of the Family Medicine Center. Patients may choose to have their car parked by a valet in the temporary parking lot across Moye Blvd. or park in the temporary lot and ride back to the Family Medicine Center in a free shuttle.
