ECU Rehabilitation Physicians care for hospitalized patients during their recovery from serious illness, injury or disease at the Regional Rehabilitation Center.
This center, part of Pitt County Memorial Hospital, allows patients to begin a strengthening or rehabilitation program during their hospital stay.
At the Regional Rehabilitation Center, patients benefit from on-site exercise areas and equipment, as well as dedicated teams of therapists and other professionals to support their rehabilitation.
New Horizons Square is an area of our rehabilitation center that enables patients to experience real-life challenges of getting into a car, grocery shopping, making a bed and even walking on uneven sidewalks.
We offer a 75-bed hospital rehabilitation center. We also have one of only two children’s pediatric rehabilitation centers in the state. Your physician will develop a rehabilitation program that may last an hour, a half-day or longer.
