Teenagers, young adults, moms-to-be and women experiencing the changes of menopause will find we are outstanding professionals who are attuned to their needs.

You can look to ECU Women's Physicians for regular breast exams and pap tests, birth control and guidance with family planning. For painful periods, endometriosis and urinary incontinence, we have the newest treatments available, many of them right in our offices. We also have the knowledge to help guide you through menopause and beyond.

For moms-to-be, you'll find we are right by your side throughout pregnancy. If complications arise, our maternal-fetal medicine specialists offer advanced care for high-risk pregnancies at our Regional Perinatal Center. This center is located at the Brody Outpatient Center at the Brody School of Medicine.

For women having difficulties conceiving, we have an outstanding fertility team and the only in vitro fertilization service east of Raleigh. Our successful pregnancy rates are among the highest in the nation.

When it's time to give birth, our obstetrics team works in partnership with Vidant Medical Center to offer comfortable, family-friendly rooms. Our staff includes midwives, who offer a more natural birth experience.

If you need birth control, our staff and physicians will help you sort through the many options based on your lifestyle and general health. If you are seeking treatment for incontinence (urogynecology), we offer non-surgical and surgical approaches to manage or relieve these conditions.

Our cancer specialists are highly skilled in detecting and treating uterine, ovarian, cervical and other cancers of the reproductive organs.

When interventions are needed, our surgeons excel in performing procedures related to women's reproductive organs. Many surgeries are done laparoscopically or with robotic assistance using small incisions to reduce pain and healing time.
