ECU Women’s Physicians provides complete women’s care and other comprehensive services. Complete women’s care includes yearly and routine gynecological examinations, obstetrical care, family planning, midwifery, menopause counseling and state of the art gynecological surgeries include urogynecologic, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Our specialists offer treatment for infertility, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, in vitro fertilization, fetal diagnosis, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation and pelvic floor reconstruction as well as genetic consultation and counseling.

The Brody Outpatient Center offers routine obstetrical and gynecologic women’s care, high risk obstetrical care and ultrasound services. High risk obstetrical care is provided to pregnant women with medical problems, i.e., diabetes mellitus, increased blood pressure, etc; or, obstetrical problems, i.e., history of preterm birth, multiple pregnancies placenta previa, etc. Fetal diagnosis and treatment is available along with a full range of testing that includes genetic testing through traditional amniocentesis (withdrawing a small amount of fluid from around the fetus), percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS) and chorionic villous sampling (CVS). Ultrasound services offers routine and targeted obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound as well as specialized genetic ultrasound exams.

Gynecology Oncology at Leo Jenkins Cancer Center offers comprehensive care for women with gynecologic malignancy as well as consultation and management of patients with difficult pelvic surgical problems and chemotherapy. The scope of gynecologic oncology diseases includes cancer of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vulva, vagina and gestational trophoblastic disease. Gynecology Oncology also offers enrollment into various clinical trials which provides new therapies for advanced or recurrent cancer.
