Other benefits include: three weeks of paid vacation, twelve days of paid sick leave annually, reimbursement of the USMLE Step III fee with a mandatory passing grade, lab coat and scrubs, laundry for lab coats, meal tickets, call rooms, and partial moving expense reimbursement up to $1,000. The Department of Emergency Medicine provides each resident with a Palm device for use throughout their residency. We are currently using the Palm M515 with a 16 mb expansion card.
ATLS and ATLS Instructor, APLS Provider, ACLS Provider and Instructor courses are provided at no cost to the resident.
