Firetower Medical Office

Geriatrics

Our division is comprised of faculty from several disciplines that teach and train the fundamentals of geriatric care to future physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  Our geriatrics fellowship program is one of the oldest in the country and graduated over fifty fellows since its inception in 1984. The Nutrition Section is staffed by Registered Dietitian/Nutritionists in clinical settings. Our dietitians have expertise in the principles of delivering evidence-based medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and diabetes education. The Residency Division oversees the postgraduate training of 36 resident physicians.
