Dr. Armen received a BS in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University (1994) and his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (1998).  He completed a Family Medicine Residency from Carolinas Medical Center (2001) and a Sports Medicine Fellowship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2003).  He is a member of both the American Academy of Family Practice (AAFP) and the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine (AMSSM).  He serves as the Head Team Physician for East Carolina University Department of Athletics and is the Program Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship for the Department of Family Medicine.  His clinical interests include comprehensive Sports Medicine related care of the collegiate athlete and has extensive experience with ECG interpretation in athletes along with eating disorder evaluation and management.  He sees patients through ECU Student Health Services and the Ward Sports Medicine Building.

 

Brock J. Niceler, MD

Dr. Niceler earned his BS at Brigham Young University with a degree in Zoology with a Human Biology emphasis (2001). He went on to complete medical school in his hometown at Marshall University, Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine (2006). After completing medical school, he moved to Salt Lake City where he completed his Family Medicine residency (2009) and Sports Medicine fellowship (2010). Since then, he has been on faculty at East Carolina University, Department of Family Medicine, and Sports Medicine Division. His current job responsibilities include Sports Medicine Division Director, and Medical Director for the Athletic Trainers at Pitt County High Schools. His current clinical practice sees a large amount of musculoskeletal medicine referrals from Family Medicine which allows for a procedural emphasis. He has training in advance injection techniques and uses fluoroscopy and ultrasound in his clinical practice. He has an interest in adolescent medicine and allows open access for high school athletes into his clinic.

Dr. Lee received a BS in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC-Greensboro (2003) and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina (2008). He completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of Colorado (2011) and a Sports Medicine fellowship at Moses Cone Primary Care Sports Medicine (2012). He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Family Practice (AAFP), American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), and the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS). He serves as the Assistant Fellowship Director for Sports Medicine Fellowship and team physician for Pitt Community College. His clinical interests include custom orthotics, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and stress fractures. He sees patients at the ECU Family Medicine Center and Firetower Medical Office.
