Monday Morning Teaching Session
Each Monday at 7:00 a.m. in the Gastroenterology conference room, PCMH-TA 308. GI physicians, fellows, rotating residents and affiliated faculty are invited.
Wednesday Morning GI Residency/Industry Conference
Each Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. GI physicians, fellows, affiliated faculty and rotating residents are invited. This conference also includes presentations and discussions on topics such as physician burnout, sleep deprivation and other topics of interest to the fellows.
Monthly Gastroenterology Journal Club
The 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. GI physicians, fellows, rotating residents, affiliated faculty and physicians in the
Greenville area are invited. Internal Medicine residents with a strong interest in GI care are also invited.
Morbidity and Mortality Conference
The first Wednesday of every other month at 7:00 a.m. in the GI conference room. GI physicians, affiliated faculty and GI fellows are invited.
Monthly Fellowship Research
The 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 a.m. in the GI conference room. Fellows present current projects and future project ideas in research. This conference is exclusively for GI physicians and fellows.
GI/Pathology Conference
The 1st Wednesday of each month at noon in the PCMH Pathology conference room. GI and Pathology coordinate this conference based on specific topics related to common gastrointestinal problems.
Internal Medicine Grand Rounds
Fellows are encouraged to attend each Friday at 8:00 a.m. in the hospital auditorium.
Residents Noon Conferences
Presented Monday through Friday at noon in the resident conference room. The Medical Education office coordinates this with all Internal Medicine divisions/departments participating.
